My eBooks are travel biographies of the observations and experiences of a totally blind and partially deaf man as he travels independently around the world having exciting adventures. The most recent volume, Seeing a Slice of Southern Africa My Way, published 31 December 2020, is a journey of continued self-discovery as I plot my way from multi-cultural South Africa with its complex society, to Malawi, with its picturesque and peaceful nature. This third book takes the reader through parts of Southern Africa, and offers a brief glimpse into a little of Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Below is a lengthy article about a British man who invented a travel chair for his disabled wife after, once again, receiving poor specialist assistance at London Heathrow Airport. Something that, sadly, is a frequent experience! I thought you all might find this article interesting, especially for anyone who like/wants to travel. Another video of Tony with his mum at the wonderful Hot spring at the Roman Baths, Bath, England. This natural hot spring heated the baths and pools at this ancient temple complex for bathers and worshippers who bathed naked and relaxed and meditated in various small hot pools and swam in and relaxed around the Great Bath, which back then, was roofed. The sound of the hot spring and the warmth of its temperature is delightful.

It’s the 17th of May, and a few more restrictions have been removed for people living in England. This is good news. I’m beginning to get out and explore a little further.
