Taq Kasra
Taq Kasra (also known as the Arch of Ctesiphon) comprises the remains of a Sasanian-era Persian monument that dates from around the 3rd to 6th centuries AD. The surviving structure made-up the facade of the main palace in Ctesiphon. Ctesiphon was an ancient city on the eastern bank of the Tigris river, about 22 miles (35 kilometres) south-east of Baghdad. It is located near the modern town of Salman Pak in Iraq.
