He’s blind, deaf and recently had a kidney transplant.

But such severe disabilities have not stopped Tony Giles, of Teignmouth, travelling the world.

At the age of 30, he has visited more countries than most people would in a lifetime, and now he has just published a book, Seeing The World My Way, which recounts his many globetrotting experiences.

Tony was born with virtually no sight and only about 20 per cent hearing, but has still managed an action-packed life.

Sky diving in Australia, bungee jumping in New Zealand and a boozy all-night session in New Orleans are just some of the tales in his book.
