My Books
I have written and published three eBooks about my world adventures.
My eBooks are travel biographies of the observations and experiences of a totally blind and partially deaf man as he travels independently around the world having exciting adventures. The most recent volume, Seeing a Slice of Southern Africa My Way, published 31 December 2020, is a journey of continued self-discovery as I plot my way from multi-cultural South Africa with its complex society, to Malawi, with its picturesque and peaceful nature. This third book takes the reader through parts of Southern Africa, and offers a brief glimpse into a little of Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Blog post / In Haiti. (4th November 2019)
Hi, Hope all you travellers out there are well. I’m now in Haiti! Country 124 on the UN official list. I met a nice couchsurfing couple living in north Haiti; Jonas and Soo. They went to Dominican Republic for the weekend. We managed to meet up in a town called Cabarete on Dominican Republic’s north coast and they helped me cross the border yesterday! Crossing into Haiti was crazy! As we arrived the border was closing and the immigration and border staff couldn’t decide whether to let us cross into Haiti or not. Blog post / Still in the Dominican Republic! (28th October 2019)
Continuously sweating and also being rained on occasionally! Spent my first three nights in Macao, a small beach town roughly 35 kilometres, 22 miles from Punta Cana airport. I stayed in a rustic hostel with very friendly people. I went ziplining on my second full day in the country. A friendly Colombian guy named Andres took me to the ziplining place on his motorbike. We sped up into the mountans and forest. At first, the company staff were unsure how to let a blind guy zipline due to possible safety concerns and the language barrier.

Gave a talk at Northampton Associated for the Blind today at their AGM in Northampton, East Middlands. Met some interesting people and had an excellent time :). I love talking about my travels; showing people what can be done and achieved with a little help and a positive mindset. Hope everyone is having a great and/or productive day. I realise life can be difficult and challenging at times, but together, with help from each other, we can cope. Simply breathing in a little fresh air each morning can often be enough. I do appreciate I am a lucky person, able to travel the world :). Hopefully my travel stories inspire people to have a go at achieving their own goals and desires. Please continue to tell all your friends, family, and strangers you meet, work colleagues etc to buy and download my amazing travel Ebooks: Seeing The World My Way Seeing The Americas My Way Available from Amazon and all other Ebook websites.
